Hello. I am Matt Northam (B.A., M.A., Lvl 15).
I’m a web designer and I dabble in some coding type stuff with Flash and PHP. Mostly though, I just like making things look nice.
A bit of context
I’ve been making web things for about 15 years now, using everything from homestead’s drag and drop java page creator to Frontpage built sites hosted on a free Angelfire account. They weren’t necessarily pretty to start with but they were fun to do.
Since then, I’ve become quite good at producing pages that are constructed with all the html and css goodness like any self respecting web designer.
Futhermore
As well as the glorious html/css that I craft, I can also get my hands dirty enhancing sites with PHP / SQL database integration, jQuery and Flash (AS 3.0 no less). I also somewhat specialise in WordPress theme development and customisation.

This site is my ‘personal’ place on the interweb and it primarily hosts my blog. I mostly talk about things I’ve done or things I think are worth talking about. What can I say(?) It’s a blog. You know how they work.
It’s powered by wordpress – with a fair bit of tinkering by me – and kindly hosted by (mt). Well, I say ‘kindly’ but I’m paying them so I’m not sure if that’s strictly true.
